September 2017 Artisan Project Featuring...

 Iridium Bracelet

Designed by Juanita Carlos

Juanita is a dedicated beader living in Johannesburg, South Africa. She shared the following bio with us... "I started beading in 2007 with simple peyote and brick stitch designs, then moved on to various other stitches. My two favorites are netting stitch and triangle weave. I love these stitches because they can be used together to create almost anything.

My designs have been published in various beading magazines around the world including, Bead and button USA, the Beadbook magazine South Africa, Perlen Poesie Germany and Creative beading Australia and a couple of other beading books.                                                                      I live in Africa and have a great love of African animals, so you will notice that in many of my Delica bead patterns.    People often ask me how I come up with design ideas. You will laugh but I often dream up designs in my sleep. When I wake up I know exactly what I am going to make.                                                                                                       My two favorite designs are Spanish lace bracelet and Pearl filigree bracelet."

Thank you for sharing you talent with us Juanita!
