What is a beadtrove subscription?

A BeadTrove subscription is the fulfillment of nearly every bead lover’s dream. Each month we send you a high quality pattern/tutorial and the supplies to complete the design. You will also often receive bonus promo codes from our designers and extra beads that don’t relate to the current design, but are fun and we love to share.

What if I have a question about a pattern or beading technique?

We are here to help.  Please email us helpme@beadtrove.com and we will do our best to promptly answer any questions.

How do I access my patterns/tutorials?

On the 5th of each month we send all current subscribers an email with a link and instructions to download the current month's tutorial.  We also will include a card with each month's kit that includes tutorial download instructions.

How much is shipping on my monthly subscription?

Postage to U.S. addresses is included in the subscription cost. Subscriptions sent to non-U.S. addresses will be charged International 1st Class of $3.30 to Canadian addresses and $5.30 to all other internationally addresses. International buyers are responsible for all customs fees and VAT charges.

How much is shipping on non-subscription items?

What is the retail value of each month’s subscription?

Your beadtrove’s retail value is always as much as or more than your subscription cost, once you add the retail cost of your pattern/tutorial, supplies and shipping.  We buy in bulk so we can pass the savings on to you. 

What is included in my monthly BeadTrove?

You will receive a pattern/tutorial and all the supplies to complete at least one project, sometimes more than one. Your kits do not include beading tools, you will need to have a basic beader’s tool kit which should at a minimum include, flush cutters, needles, round nose pliers, flat nose pliers, and scissors. You can add our tool kit to your 1st month’s subscription during checkout if desired.

Who would benefit from a BeadTrove subscription?

BeadTrove was created for those who love beads and those who love those who love beads, BeadTrove is a great way to check out new beading styles and projects without the beader’s conundrum, which goes as follows: Find a great new pattern/tutorial, buy said pattern/tutorial, realize you only have half the beads needed for said project, go online to buy 2nd half of supplies, only find ½ of the needed supplies at first shop and move on to the next shop, realized that you can’t be sure of the color so pack up and head to your favorite local bead store and then 3 hours and twice the amount of a BeadTrove subscription, you finally have the needed beads, but no longer have time to tackle the project. Not so with Beadtrove, everything delivered to satisfy and challenge!

When I finish my project is there somewhere I can show it off?

You bet! We love show and tell! Please post your finish project on our Facebook page. Each month we will feature finished projects on our blog, we would love to include yours!

What skill level do I need to successfully complete projects?

Our projects are designed for novice to intermediate beaders, also suitable for accomplished or advanced beaders who just enjoy trying out new patterns/tutorials.

There seems to be a mistake in the pattern/tutorial, what do I do?

Please email us at helpme@beadtrove.com and we will work with our designers to see that the pattern is corrected and a new version uploaded to your account. 

When does my subscription ship?

Your BeadTrove will ship the 1st of each month.  Please be aware that we live in a remote Alaskan village with limited mail service (all mail leaves via plane when the weather is good) so your BeadTrove might take up to 10 days to arrive (U.S. addresses, more for international addresses).  You can check your tracking number included with your shipping notification to keep an eye on your package.

How do I update my account?  How do I change my credit card or update shipping/billing information?

To make updates or changes to your account, your credit card information, or change your shipping/billing address;  login to your account, then under account details and your name click manage subscriptions (on right of page). To change/update your credit card or billing address, click billing information on the left of the next page. To change/update shipping address click Subscriptions (along the left), click edit to the right of the current address.  If you ever have issues with updating your account please contact us and we will help keep your account current.

Does my subscription renew automatically?

Yes, when you subscribe to BeadTrove your subscription will automatically renew until you tell us to stop. To make changes to your subscription log in to your account, on the right side of the page under account details click manage subscriptions.

How do I make changes to or cancel my subscription?

To edit your account, update credit card information, change shipping address, put a hold on or cancel your subscription. Log in to your account and click manage subscriptions under account details.

I design patterns how can I get my pattern/tutorial featured?

I own an online bead store can you feature my beads?

Can I make a suggestion for future BeadTroves?

Yes, we love to hear from you, email us at referrals@beadtrove.com  to give us your ideas.

Does BeadTrove have a rewards program?

Yes, click the earn a free month on the main menu to enroll and your gems will soon add up toward a free subscription. Gem reward levels change so check back and see all the ways you can earn gems each month.

To apply your gems to your account click the rewards icon in the bottom right corner and choose the number of gems to apply to your account.

How does buying a gift subscription work?

You can purchase a gift subscription of 1 or more months; click the give a gift link.   If you know your recipients favorite colors you can indicate that during checkout, if not when your recipient receives notification of the gift they can login and give us more information.  We will send a card to your recipient with their 1st month’s subscription with the greeting of your choice.  Gift subscriptions do not automatically renew.

What is your return policy and procedure?

We do not accept any returns or provide refunds after a beading subscription kit has been paid for or shipped.  This is the only way we can order from our vendors in quantities sufficient to provide you with such great value!  If you do not like an item in your subscription package, then you can always gift it to a fellow bead lover!

We accept returns on non-sale individual items (individually purchased past features and tools not discounted during checkout). Please email us at info@BeadTrove.com  describing your reason for returning the item(s), we may be able to resolve the issue without a return. Mail back the unused items you would like to return, using an insured mailing service with tracking (e.g., USPS), within 30 days of receipt in the product's original packaging and labels to the return address on your package, including a copy of your invoice or order number.  Once you have shipped your returns please email the tracking number to info@BeadTrove.com  Returned products must be unused and in the original packaging.  We will credit your card less a $5 restocking fee per product returned.  We will not, however, be able to refund your shipping costs.
